Watching the World Cup Final last night reminded me of watching the 1978 final with my Dad as a 9 year old.  :)

He sent me off to bed at half time!!  :o  >:(    I protested furiously but got red carded all the same and it scarred me for life!!  ::)  ;D

What harsh decisions or punishments did your parents inflict on you?  ::)

Not let me watch the lunar landing ..... One small step ...... and all that. I was especially gutted when some of my class mates had been dragged out of bed to watch history in the making.  :( :( :(
