Oh my, Dr. Opti, you made me think; not about departed people, but once-owned cars.
Is there any way, site or Google, that I can check to see if my old flames (in a vehicular sense!) are still in existence? I can still remember the Reg. Nos, of many of them....sad, I know!

Search for 'DVLA Vehicle Enquiry' in Google. You can check the current license status of a vehicle and see if it is taxed, SORNd, or when the tax date of liability was. All you need is the reg number and make/model.

You can even bring up every MOT certificate, details of advisories etc for the life of the car if you have the v5 document number! Useful to see what problems a car might have experienced before you became acquainted with it.
