Ok, thanks Chris, Ive not bothered with TC for years now, as my local Vx Dealer (Browns) would give me Trade Acount  Prices for cash payments, unfortunatly theve gone tits up, so its all about blaging from the nearest Vx Dealer (Bristol Street Motors) who dont seem to be blag friendly.  :(, sooner we get an AndyC type fella back on the Forum the better.  ;)

Ok thanks, not a massive difference, but better than a poke in the eye as they say. Also gives me some blaging margins with my new Dealer.  :y

What's so special about the black goo anyway? Is it any different than any other liquid gasket like hylomar for example?  :-\

What's special about it is, nobody else makes it. Loc tite used too. But no more... Or was it superseded and Halfords don't stock it. Can't remember.

We really must sort Tiggers miss trust in anything with a vx badge on it.

Trouble is we are not TC anymore so can't offer anywhere near sthe sort of discounts and thoses dealers that aer TC can't be ar**d to muck about with all that postage stuff, give a it few years.

Oh we have one of the old Browns parts guys here now as well

I read somewhere that there are different strengths of sealant so be wise in which one you choose  ::)
