I just wanted say how much I enjoyed that race yesterday. Utterly awsome onboard and slow mo footage. They've refined the gyro cam with a glass dome, which also gives some odd reflections, but they've done so because it now swivels 360 degrees, as well as keeping the horizon level.

In the early laps especially, there is some excellent close quarters footage from Rossi's bike among others.

...and the race, well, I won't spoil that for you. But its good. Lots of long corners and dicing early on. Go see  :y

However there was a problem with the track side camera apparently, as described in commentary. Helicopter and onboard shots abound at the end.

Excellent camera shots , brought back memories of riding the ZX12R at full chat  :)
