2.5 TD , bubbleing around injector base?
« on: 11 September 2014, 12:34:57 »

Had to replace the leak of pipes on the omega yesterday, I noticed that with the engine running there was bubbleing in the spilt fuel around the injectors where they sit in the head. I am hoping that it is just a case of nipping them down in the head, but was wondering if any one has had the same problem.

Try nipping up as a starter or replace the injector seal on that injector (or if you are really stuck then re-anneal the copper washer and refit)

Thanks for advice.

It is 1 & 2 injectors that are the problem as far as I can see, but if replacing the seals on those 2 I will probable do all of them anyway. the car has done 175000 mile so probable need them all doing.
