hi everyone

please can someone please help me I have a 2.2cd petrol automatic on start up it is very noisy  but calms down after a little while also makes like a tapping noise under acceleration you can hear it when you pass obstacles. I have also noticed in my loads of service records that the timing belt was last changed in 2008. I know that these cars belts need to be changed every 40,000mls or 4 years whichever is sooner. it is now if the records are correct 6 yrs.

I really do not want to be cheeky but is there anyone on here that can help me. I need the timing belt and water pump changed urgently  as I am now terrified to drive it in case it goes. also where would I get a quality timing belt and water from as Vauxhall want over £180.

Is there anyone that can supply and fit the parts for me and I reimburse the cost of parts and some extra for fitting. the engine code is (z22xe)

I know this sounds really cheeky but I do not intend it to be so honestly I am just desperate. 

if anybody wants to help I live in Birmingham but will travel.

If there is someone local to you with a VX Trade Club card then the price is ok from VX. If not then Gates and Contitech kits are accepted as being good on here. Water pump, VX again or QH are good but watch out for fakes.

It is a fairly simple job on the 2.2, you will need the Cam locking wedges (pieces of plastic) to make it easy.
