FireAngel
« on: 15 September 2014, 11:06:03 »

Whilst we were away in Cornwall for the last 2 weeks, the carbon monoxide detector kept going off for no apparent reason.

No gas appliances were being used when it did go off.

Yesterday I emailed FireAngel, this morning had a phone call, new one in the post, plus a pre-paid envelope to return the old one.

That's what I call service :y

Not worth their reputation and the news headlines if a death occurred under the watch of one of their devices.

More of a sound business decision rather than any concern for your health. IMO.

The very polite young lady who phoned, said as it was for a caravan, there was no quibble.

Bit of both I guess.

I have a similar item pulled into the light socket. Saves worrying about batteries.

I did have one go faulty , couldn't be bothered with the warranty just went out and bought a new one.

The faulty one was harder to kill than a power sounder. Took a bin full of water to kill it in the end!
