Spanish Road Trip - Blog
« on: 06 September 2014, 07:35:42 »

As I've mentioned myself and my good lady are embarking on a road trip with final destination Northern Spain which we want to see a lot of.

We have nearly 4 weeks and have saved hard for a year.

We are taking my spares/repairs DTi estate with 163k what can go wrong eh?

Just leaving for Dover. Tonight we stay in Rouen, France. After that nothing's booked.

We have a no toll roads policy. Just going to plod along each day until we find somewhere we want to stay.

Watch here for our daily update and pictures :y

Safe and wonderful trip James. I lived in Santiago De Compostela for a couple of years in the early 70's, you really must visit there. Wife and I are thinking of loading up the car and driving down to Jerez in a couple of weeks, yet to decide whether to ferry to Caen or Santander?? Hope you have a great time.  :y

Under-steer is when the front of the car hits the wall, and over-steer is when the rear of the car hits the wall.
Power is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how much of the wall you take with you.

Have a great trip. I agree staying off toll roads. Anything with a green line alongside it on the map!

If you are camping there is a nice municipal site fairly near the centre of Burgos.

As per PM, if you make it to Southern Spain look us up or if you run into difficulties.

Looking forward to the blog :y
