Towbar

Hopefully simple question...will a pre- facelift towbar fit a facelift.

Both cars are estates. :y

Bolt it on - yes. Both cars have identical floorpans etc...

Have a funny feeling that the rear bumper will foul it, though. Guy round my way I'm sure ran with a PFL towbar on his FL - but jigsawed his rear bumper to make it fit. (not kept as a concourse car, as you can imagine)

If the tow bar doesn't bear a type approval and the target car is registered after 1/8/1998, though, you'll be committing an offence and could technically be prosecuted for it..

Ok cool..will offer it up and see how much bumper needs cutting.

I now settle into my comfiest chair ready to be proven wrong  :D :D

(I often am - you watch - the towbar will drop straight on, no cutting required!  :y)
