Sorry , never done it before

How do i get the carpets out my saloon , do seats have to come out and any other niggly stuff .. never took them out so just feelers to how big a job it will be  :-[

At the same point. NO idea!! Heard it's a 'five minute job' on here a while ago. I'd say it's interior sill covers off, and possibly the centre console surrounding the gear lever out, or at least raised a little - though for our purposes I'd say just lifting the carpet enough to get access would do it.

You have been told to take it easy,put the tools away,lock the car up and rest,or else i shall be coming with a trailer and moving it to my garage....

Both front seats fully forward. Slacken inboard rear frontseat mounting bolt about 1/4-1/2"

Remove front seatbelt lower anchor bolt, making note of the order of bits.
Phillips screw out of the outer runner rear cover, slide the front half forward out of the way and lift out the rear half.

Unclip the front of the rear seat base and raise it slightly. Remove if it's easier, but not essential.

Unpick the carpet from under the sill panel and gradually work around it to remove it. Will take a bit of care to free it from the centre console, as it will tear if you force it.

You can remove the two torx bolts visble at the back of the console, but not necessary IMHO.

Refit as removed... Bish, bash, bosh :y
