My 2000 2.5 Omega saloon has failed MOT on centre track rod steering box drop arm joint failure. Bought a used one, joint is worse than mine! What is best source for a good one?

All German I guess. Used wouldn't normally be a common failure. Where did you get it?

In answer to your question Chris, I bought it from omegaspareparts.com, Steve Brown. I reported the problem, he rang me, said he has sold several of these, apologised, said normally it's the other end (idler arm end) that goes, asked me to return it and he will refund cost and postage.

Thanks again, Al. Part arrived Thursday, fitted Friday, MOT pased today. Steve Brown refunded my money against returned item, also refunding postage.
