Mine works ok but the whats it called? Not one touch, but the press without engaging indicator before it clicks, part of the indicator stalk movement sticks and won't return on its own. And flashing high beam doesn't seem to actually turn the lights on simetimes.

Or is it a case of just buying a new one?

About £40 from dealer (that was 2 or 3 years ago though).

I have taken them apart before - fairly simple - but the 2 I've had fail were not really repairable one had burned contacts and the other had a weak (springy bit) contact).

No. Because WD40 stops them arcing. It's wonderful stuff. Have you tried it yet, and will you admit it if it works?

It was something that I was getting around to for 10 yrs ........ but never did. Mine used to arc on the momentary push if I didn't give it a reasonable push
