Is vehicle in question an auto?If so could it not be inhibitor switch?That'd stop it turning over,or in a blonde moment is it in gear and not park?Not that I've made such a silly mistake myself you understand.Oh no not me I haven't!!!

thanks to all sorry took time to get back was bit of a rush getting sorted and then getting on with jobs, but as soon as jump leads on it went so battery rolled over i guess, anyway got another things seem fine i hope. thanks again for help its much appreciated and mark if you on need car looked at in next wee while due mot 2 months and not sure if leak or what it is underneath so when free give me a shout ok cheers
