Why do I always think it was "Roger of Ockham" who was famed for the Razor?  I know it's William, but I make the same mistake every time the principle comes up in conversation, which it doesn't very often because I no longer encounter in my daily life anyone who can sustain an intelligent conversation for more than three minutes.   :(

Last night's TV now forms a more significant part of my life than philosophy.  >:(

There must be simple explanation... :)
