My MP is pushing - he doesn't want to lose his seat

Sorry to sound cynical but i believe MP's only do 'lip service'

they only do what they want to do
...and what they want now is to keep their seats,nu lie bore is in meltdown (5th behind the bnp  :o) so,suddenly they are listening to the concerns of their constituents. :y

Ours got in by moving boundaries, the old MP took over the country part of his old and part of another and we got a Labour one in here - likely to lose to Cons I expect next election as MP toes party line too much and is not that much his own man.

What is funny two Cons MPs live in this Lab constituancy - old MP and a local who was MP somewhere sillly

Here is one such story.

Will wait to see what he actually does --- I have no faith in what is reported in the Mail .... and have even less faith in polititians ( of any party) actually doing what they say they will do in an effort to win votes
