Real shame the OOF courier service couldn't get these from Bristol to nearer the midlands 

The Boy and others kindly offered to get these as near at Nottingham (where my mate lives, who came up to visit yesterday) but that first leg just never happened, and I felt if I kept asking it would be bordering on annoying!

If there's any way, I'll be definitely happy to give you pennies for the wheels, Rob. Thanks for the offer again.

I could potentially get Oxford to Nottingham just after xmas, as I need my CANdi in a hurry from MDTM, as some daft mongrel bought a Vectra-C that's broken.

I will be going to Scotland at some point after Christmas after I have done the son-in laws bike engine so will have to return that. how much of the job lot has to go north ?

If memory serves, the thread managed to get all the way from Oxford to Nottingham, The Boy among the kind benefactors; it was the Bristol to Oxford bit that was the leg that struggled to find any takers. I would gladly pay full fuel cost to any OOFer, plus beer money for their trouble. Should anyone know of any of them steelies as fitted to Vectra Cs which have the clip-on alloy-wheel-effect trims, they'd also be gratefully accepted. (Insignia is out, sadly as some engineer or acLady bitsant decided to change the PCD after 30 years!  )


Oh, apologies to RobG for hijacking his thread! I'm still trying to buy them wheels, Rob!

Right - if it's ok by all Mr VXL V6 has a potential offer of the Rog in Bristol to Oxford run, which I think then puts the wheels in shouting distance of The Boy and a couple of others, too?

Aiming for a late Jan/Feb-ish timescale, so not in need of them in the next 24hrs, or anything!
