Done it again
« on: 04 January 2015, 10:11:40 »

Formatted my PC for the New year.  Installed all drivers etc etc.  Gone to check my mail (Yahoo and hotmail) Cant remember the pass words, Yahoo had logged me out that many times and had to change password to get back in I cant remember, so goes into recovery methed and . . .  . erm didnt upgrade my mobile number on the system (Orange decided to end the service without warning because I wasnt topping up - The phone only ever had £20 on it in all the time I had when I bought a philips Savvy)

So here I am in 2015 cant access e-mail
Cant recover either because I have the wrong phone details
Cant send recovery details to another email address, because they are linked to each other.

Worse still I cant fill in the  recovery form because I lied about my details and where I live and cant remember them  ::)

Ah well, what a start to the new year and only myself to blame. :y

Oh  dear..you see i am an old person so I tend to forget things like that....thats why I keep a book of passwords and details in my own made up code which is simple to design for yourself...then if i need a reminder I just look it up...if the book gets stolen then no.one else will understand it...Of coarse there will be a time that  I may forget where I put that book so thats where a piece of string tied to me and the book will come in handy  :y :y :y... back to my childhood  when mum put me in a harness and reins  in case she lost me. ;D ;D

There`s quite a few on here who often ask the question mid flight " Was i going up the stairs or down the stairs? And if i was going up, what was i going up for?"

Saved by my mobile, forgot I set set yahoo on my S5, so did a request to it from hotmail and vice versa, problem quickly solved.

Yes I do keep a copy of passwords, just that yahoo forces me to log off every 4 weeks and for some reason forces a password chance, I obviouly forgot to keep a record of them.
