Gerrard to leave Liverpool

Media is reporting that Stevie G will leave Liverpool when his contract ends at the end of the season :o

Reports are that he will not go to another english club ;D ;D

Sad news for us 'Pool supporters :'( :'( :'(  & one of only a handful of Liverpools greatest ever players .

Maybe only Kenny Dalgish would get my vote over Stevie G  :-\ :-\

So not much look forward to for next season the way things are going ::)

Mr Rodgers needs to sort himself out a bit . It's worrying when he says things like this after yesterdays game . .

" we are in a good position"      . . . not in the supporters eyes Mr Rogers >:( >:(

Yeah, every bloody news programme led on this story this morning!

He is only an overpaid professional footballer!  Why do these things become so news worthy? ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

Sky claiming he's the best ever Liverpool player and by this afternoon, they'd ramped him up to being the best midfielder in the world ?  ::)

What they smoking at Sky ?  ??? Have they not heard of Keegan, Dalglish etc and do the names Scholes, Pirlo, Zico, Zidane, Platini etc not ring any bells ?

Shame that he's going as he is real comedy value !  :y

He's been doing no more than sitting in front of the back four pinging balls upfield for the last two seasons, apart from sauntering upfield to take penalties. I think we are actually a better team when Henderson takes on his role these days.
Sure, Liverpool owe Gerrard a debt of gratitude, but he didn't exactly do it for free.
