IIRC folklore says it wasn't called the Pajero over here because Pajero means someone who diddles with themselves in Spanish.. ;D

Used to have the Pajero/Shogun 2.8TDs in Cyprus as hire cars (not really needed in the past few years, as most roads are now tarmac-ish).

I certainly wouldn't buy one, an unrefined chassis with an even less refined lump under the bonnet.

Pajero is an Import  :( My insurance company wont insure it and seller wont come down on price either  :( Looking at something different now  ::)
