Some people have all the luck,  ::)

I only heard a few weeks back of a guy I used to know well that used to work for Chubb Alarms before being taking over by zyx so many times, He was there from leaving school and worked Hes up to Management, quiet some time back He got laid off with a nice package to go and full Pension, Anyway apparently the  Pension Co or whoever deals with it contacted Him recently and said there was a bit of an error in the Pension calculations, and offered Him just over another 100k as a Cash Final Settlement in addition to what He already had and is getting, if He agreed and not to pursue any further. ::)

Needless to you can guess His answer.  :y

An extra £100,000. :D :D :y

Opti - take the cash and invest in 2.6 nights with your sister in law - at least you might then  die with a smile on your face.

I received a nice letter this morning. :y

Apparently I have a small pension that I can cash in next month if I choose to. I had long forgotten about this because the pension scheme only ran from 1988 to 1990. In fact I have no record of it.

According to the letter I have two options.

1.....A cash payment of £2654 and roughly £300 each year until I drop off the perch.

2.....No cash payment and £543 a year.

I'm minded to take option 1.

It's a win-win situation because I genuinely have no knowledge of paying  into this pension scheme. :y

Now then.....can I buy a decent new car for £2643?

Unless you feel like buying mrs opti a nice sports car  ::) then i would invest in a nice classic car , say an SD1 or something  :-\
