Wasn't me.

1) My car is Blue
2) I wouldn't go to Basingscrote of my own free will  ;)

I always thought where you lived was 'the outskirts of Basingstoke' ;D ;D

Oh, no..  :o A long way away from there ::).

That be a different county over there. We don't like to cross county borders in these parts, unless chasing sheep.

When I first met her (21 years ago) she used to drive like Miss Daisy, so cautious in fact that she was probably in more danger of causing an accident than avoiding one however a few gentle digs pointers saw her dithering a lot less as time went on.

She did make me laugh yesterday on the way to the doctors when I asked her not to be so "severe" with cornering, gear changing, etc as it was making me worse than what I was....during the resultant "discussion" (she flipped) she said her mode of driving was my fault as "You taught me to drive like this Mark"  ;D

I know I digress from my OP, but your remarks, Mark, reminded me of Christine when she took me to the doctors when my back was bad. I had a job to get in the car, so she drove....its only about a mile, if that, but she seemed to hit every bump in the road. I uttered as much........she just looked slowly round and said..'It bloody hurts, don't it'

I think that was payback time ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Bit like me.....spent 10 years as a PCV driving instructor, and I could'nt keep my trap shut when being driven by SWMBO,until she gave me a choice,i.e to be left where she had stopped, that being in the middle of nowhere or the nearest bus stop and being a Sunday the buses are a rare sight, needless to say I still watch and make mental notes but I don't flap my gums anymore :-X ::)

Her driving is actually pretty good Tony, although I guess I would say that  ;D
With the exception of a small scrape a week after passing her test, she has 21 years of incident free driving behind her...and that is pretty good going by anybody's standards (especially these days).
