It is supposed to be an enhancement, i have never seen performance figures so can't comment for sure

Umm!! Does that act like an induction filter then? takinmg the place of that? I was considering one a while ago... but is it worth it?  :-/

No, it works in conjunction with it takes out all the additional pipework and makes the airflow supposedly smoother i believe

Thing is, I can't see how it makes the airflow smoother, the multi ram works by giving the optimum tract length for airflow within preset rev ranges, if you take away the multirams (how would the rear work without a vac connection???) then all your doing is trying to shove the same volume of air in all the time.

I'm probably wrong but it's my line of thought anyway!!!  :)
