End of my Omega Era.
« on: 07 February 2015, 16:56:12 »

Omega will be going on Friday. I have bought a Black Astra 1.6 SE Auto Petrol 62 plate which will do the station job etc.

Feels quite strange after 13 years but it is not economic to keep if you do not do your own repairs. Not bothered with the hassle to sell private.

Sad to hear that your omega is going   :'( :'(

Surely someone on here, who does their own maintenance , could well be interested in keeping it going :-\

Judging by all the recent activity around any 3.2 that has been advertised  for sale on e bay /autotrader etc. ::) ::)

Ditto, mine just drove off with a new owner. I hate selling cars.. more stressful than buying & selling a house if you ask me!

Yeah. I used to win cars on ebay that ended late at night. Was quite happy until I went to bed......and the doubts started creeping in.  ;D

Well my Omega era is now definitely over but with a late twist. VX dealer gave me more than it was worth (allegedly) against the Astra and kept saying it was only really worth £300 so after doing deal I bought it back from VX dealer and sold it to ...........Josh Wyatt!!!! I hope it re-emerges in the future. I pick up Astra tomorrow morning.

I was sorry to see it go after 13 years.

Very nice to deal with Josh.
