woohoo just had a good result on my breakdown cover, been with greenflag for 10 years through caravan club and havnt used them till jan this year and although I was sorted out it was a bit of a farce and after a phonecall to discuss my renewal which ended in me putting phone down I cancelled my automatic renewal and sent them an email.yesterday I received a cheque of apology for £25 and rang them tonight to ask how much to keep the same level of cover bearing in mind im no longer with caravan club and they've classed it as renewal so with the cheque its only cost me £8 for recovery within 1/4 mile from home, national recovery to any destination and if they have left the cover exactly the same if I don't get my car repaired at my destination they will pick me back up and bring me home so not to spoil my holiday  :y

Sounds good, Daz. Except next time you break down it's likely to be a farce again. I like cheap, but I like good service as well.

TOP TIP: Buy a daewoo orlando and you will never, ever break down. :y

I'm sure that this weeks Top Gear top tip was, if you've £65k to spend and fancy a gay led blue Porsche... Don't, buy a proper Chevrolet instead... ::)

STEMOs top tip could be anything though... which is both worrying and disturbing in equal measure :-\

Taking you to your holiday destination and then back home again is part of the Caravan Club deal. It isn't included in normal policies.

So if I have a puncture on my caravan and no car, my CCAA policy will deliver me to Provence and back...
