face lift rear reflectors replacement
« on: 27 February 2015, 12:15:02 »

hi guys
we have an omega face lift estate, one of the rear reflectors was smashed. we got a new pair from e-bay and were not cheap.
my question is how do i replace them? looking at car i have back lights lens then small block of moulding below them then reflector then bumper. was thinking of cutting off lugs and glueing it in place ?
but would like to do proper job

thanks in advance

Remove the screw on the inboard side and it simply unhooks from the bumper... ::)

Certainly no need to break anything ???

;D and the award for stupid question go's to ME
put kettle on for coffee , walked out to car opened boot spotted the screw thought can't be that easy? undid screw replaced reflector repeated on other side. walked back  in house to kettle clicking off. lost track of how many times i've said to wife its only a 5 min job to fix that or this on a car to end up spending an hour.

in my defence in this case i was a) being nagged
                                            b) car was not here
                                            c) not checked car before posting
                                            d)half asleep

now to work through the other things she is asking me to look at..............
