 not steam coming out hot but top hose hot and firm , its missing due to cam cover gaskets failing you can here it arking out

Any misfire needs sorting, Cats wont like any unburnt fuel, Lambda's (O2) sensors will start to report rich mixture etc, Mpg starts going out the window, needs sorting as soon as really.  ;)

Certainly likely to overheat the pistons very quickly.

Yup to all the above  :y

In fact, its quite spectacular when the unburnt fuel in the cats ignites and you get sparks and flames out of your tailpipe   :y
Motorists behind you do tend to panic a little though  ;)
In fact, if you have been shopping and have some burgers in the car, you could quite easily cook lunch while you wait for the cats to stop glowing orange and cool  ;D ;D
