key fob
« on: 10 March 2015, 16:21:12 »

Have an Omega 2.6 Elite and have come to replace battery in key fob. The battery holder sprung out when opening fob. There are two minute holes on circuit board and I would presume the holder clips onto these. I have tried so far with no success. Would welcome advise.

The battery holder is soldered into those two holes. A working one is, anyway!

It might be possible to resolder it, but that's not one of my skills and I can't advise on it. One of mine was packed in place with a folded piece of card, but didn't work reliably.

A new fob isn't particularly expensive if sourced intelligently.
