There were seven of us in the house today, we all picked and put a quid on two horses. That's fourteen selections and not one of us got a horse in the first four.

This is the first time for many years that I have not had a few quid on the National, working today so no time ,wouldn't have picked the winner anyhow.

Five of our family all had a bet , mine was leading at first but no one had a winner again  ::) Bit of fun but will have to wait another year for that deposit on the Monaro  :'(

I had a bit of luck for a change this weekend, £5.60 win on the Euro, £44.91 win on the National & £25 win on the Lotto!  8)  8) 8)

My 2 selections, one a reasonable bet, the other, an outsider. The outsider got pulled about 1/2 way round. The reasonable one managed 23 fences before it fell over, it only needed to jump 3 more and it was up with the leaders  :(
