LPG guy says that when my car runs fine on gas for a while then reverts back to being lumpy and generally sh*tty, its because the ECU is telling the gas system to alter because the lambda sensors think something's wrong when its on gas, personally i dont believe him because it runs painfully flawless on petrol (painfully because it makes me want to keep it cos it runs so perfect on petrol!)

i'm glad you replied first since you've read the codes for me before (had it confirmed by tech 2 on the safe side when i had my gearbox software updated)

i know people dont recommend using pattern parts because they're not always as reliable, but would pattern o2 sensors be much cheaper?

Surely if the lambdas are faulty they would show when running on petrol not just on gas.

what annoys me is that its as if its within reach of running perfectly

even though its never run perfect for any length of time within the 3½ months of being installed, its always been drivable in a tolerable way and i'm certain it requires just the smallest of tweeks to make it perfect

but i'm not local to anyone else with LPG software and a laptop who can look at it without charging the earth :(

Have you got a cable for the laptop to LPG ECU?

Pity, we could have had a look at it.
I'm sure the number of people on here with LPG experience could have given us some clues.
