I must get the XE in my '72 Avenger running this year.
Avengers don't rot as badly as an Escort, and until recently were actually easier to get structural panels for!
They drive better too.

A mate of mine had an Avenger Tiger. Seemed to have a tendency to end up pointing the wrong way up the road, but that could have been a seat-steering wheel interface issue. ;D

I had a super strada back in the day, used to tramp on for a 1.5 but turned to dust very quickly.

Swmbo had one of those..... ;D ;D ;D

When we went to trade it in, I was in my own car at the time. I told the salesman I had a Strada to px against a Charade the misses fell in love with. He said...will it drive in, or will you bring it in in a carrier bag ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Rotten as a dogs turd, but they had a minimum £750 px, any condition. Thats what I paid for it a few years before :y So good buy in the end. and the Charade only had 17,000 on the clock, one owner and cost £3000. :y

Trying to gain some interest in many of these old beauties, you have abandoned in the numerous barns scattered around your large estate M'lud? :P :P :P
