Need an MOT on our Corsa in Leicester

Got a shock yesterday. Rang a recommended garage and testing station in Scarborough to ask if they could do an MOT. Yes but first appointment was next Tuesday (not helped by bank holiday of course). I had hoped to get it done while I was here but now will have to leave Mrs V with getting it done next week in South East Leicester (Narborough side).

Any suggestions or recommendations please? Halfords? I am not expecting it to fail but you never know!
