Yes you could fix it that way - by fitting a working CDC. If the display safe is coming up the head unit and screen aren't paired though.

NOT Display safe but Radio safe. the radio works fine so does the sat nav, but when setting sat nav Radio safe comes up about every 5 sec's

I reckon that may be radio is depaired, but screen isn't. Which is a tad inconvenient.

I hate it when I'm right

However, gave me an opportunity to try my new clip for my programmer   (which I'd forgotten I'd bought, so had resigned myself to soldering the wires on )
