Bogus Pay Pal e-mail

Just received an e-mail from PayPal telling me that my account access has been limited due to " UNUSUAL ACTIVITY ON JULY 11th 2008 ". JULY 11th ? IT HASN'T HAPPENED YET!!!!! SHOWS THE LEVEL OF INTELLIGENCE  THESE PHISHERS HAVE. BE WARNED.

I get about 2 or 3 a month.  Do they not realise I work for HM forces therefore get a pitance!!!!!  ;D ;D

I get those by the day.   along with email from people who want to give me a few million for 'use of my bank account' to launder some cash..

Frightening thing is is that there will be some unfortunate people - probably old and vulnerable, who have just discovered computers - who will get caught by these evil people.

When I first started using Pc years ago... I lost thousands on ebay selling my dj equipment... posted to nigeria enough said  :-X :-[ :-X

I had some e-mail through a few months ago saying they were Paypal and wanted different info about our account... so I e-mailed Paypal and they apparently sorted it out >:(

 ::) And there was I, thinking that my Bank and Paypal were just sooo-clumsy forgetting my acount and PIN number details so often; don`t tell me I didn`t have to keep clicking those links and re-entering my numbers after all! :o

did you close the browser window and then open a fresh one to access paypal the safe way and see if there is indeed any limits on your account?

I always type the full web address of any banks I use on the internet. That way I know I've arrived safely, before logging on. ;)

I too have won nearly 20billion in the last year on lotteries I hadn't even entered ;D ;D ;D
