Just wanted to thank Daz for taking the time on an early Saturday morning (after a knight out I may add) to fit a new Timing belt & Kit, Water pump, Aux belt & tensioner, GM Red Coolant along with numerous tie raps to tidy up my engine bay
I have to say Daz made it look so easy, I wouldn't have a clue how to spot the timing being out and how to rectify it or have the right tools to lock the teeth in place or how to set it correctly, I do believe what he said to me before he started that he could do this with his eyes closed, thankfully he didn't try this on my car
but instead did an A1 job
, no issues at all and I think I may of gained 1 mpg on the return journey but that is nothing compared to the peace of mind I now have that the car is well and truly sorted.
Please thank your lovely lady Clare for looking after me with a nice cuppa on arrival and just how friendly and welcoming she was
. If anyone is in need of a timing belt doing or pretty much anything to do with the Omega then you will be hard pushed to find many others with this mans professional attitude and clear knowledge of the Omega engine, he also is a perfectionist and won't do a half job instead he does that much more than he had been asked, so thank you once again Daz I will indeed be in touch to sort the other bits we discussed and hopefully we will meet again at the next Wycombe meet.
