So few weeks back bought one of those EE Osprey Mini's 4G MiFi thing's 11 quid or there abouts, Seller said used twice whilst on Hols, no box, no charger, all lost, was working can't test as battery is flats but should be good.

So took a punt, guessing mini USB charging socket, what could go wrong. Cut a long story short it never arrived, so mailed seller about 3 times, eventually got a reply saying he can't find it and will send something else out instead.   :(, here we go I thought.

Postman knocked this morning with a packages, opened it, and we have a Brand New, still EE sealed replacement, all there, Osprey, charger, case, instructions, box etc, with a letter saying sorry about that, couldn't find his one, so he's gone out a bought another from EE together with a 2 Month 100gb Sim.  :o

Saying he'll claim it back on his insurance, also included was an EE unlocking code, which I assume is for he's old one as the unit is unlocked anyway.  :y

So, these sellers, they are out there somewhere. :y

Saying he'll claim it back on his insurance     :o :o :o  :o

Hypothetically speaking - very risky is that, if he claims against the new one which you've bought & the insurance company run checks on the IMEI no. they'll not be too happy.  :o :o :o

if you go into an EE shop and sign up for a data SIM contract, the Mi fi modem is free.

you still need a data sim for yours.
