It will not be noticeable on the Signum. And economy wise, the drag from an open window will effect it more at anything over about 40mph

I imagine having the AC.....lights.....wipers......radio on must make a huge difference to the range of an electric car, or milk float. ::)

Ac consumes a few kW of energy and only really when first cooling at max Capacity, once the cabin is to temperature then the consumption drops right off.

iirc, aircon uses about 15-20bhp if it's engine driven... :-\

Nooo! There's nowhere for the heat to go for a start, and that's cruising at 40-50MPH type power, so it would kill fuel consumption.

I'd be surprised if it took more than 1 or 2 hp. I certainly can't detect a fuel consumption change on mine.
