It went dugga dugga dugga
« on: 26 September 2015, 22:23:43 »

Started the car up this morning pretty early , it was cold and misty outside but the car sounded like it was firing on 3-4 cylinders  ??? But cleared after a few seconds , hope thats not a sign of coil pack failure  :(
Coils are dry and plug wells dry .

Are codes stored if EML has not displayed? I imagined not.

Yes,you should get misfire codes,0301 through to 0306 depending on cylinders detected

No Eml can also point to no bulb, which itself raises a code... ::)

In my day, on damp mornings with older cars, it was simply a squirt of WD40 and off you went.

Did the WD40 make the hot tubes glow a bit more so they ignited the fuel? :P :P ;D ;D
