Letter today from SKODA
« on: 13 October 2015, 18:02:37 »

Looks like my car is one of the naughty ones  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Just come home to find this letter from the director of SKODA UK. stating that my car cheats the emissions test.

'We will contact you when the technical solution is available, to confirm the next steps. Please be assured that, when doing the work relating to this issueis carried out on your vehicle, the repair will be at no cost to you and we will do our utmost to minimise the inconvenience to you'.

Just don't take it to them. If it's running fine, why let them (possibly) drop the power in order to get the emissions right. There's no way an mot tester will know unless, of course, they are sent a list of 'dirty' cars.
