Do the reversing sensors need cleaned all the time  They seem to not sense a car but if anyone walks past close the beeper goes off  Omega saloon seems to throw up a lot of dirt onto the rear bumper and onto the sensors 
Ive had to go back to turning me edd now and thats not on

The sensors on mine were caked in mud until I got the car washed yesterday. They worked fine.

I would have thought that not to "see" a car the sensors would have to be so caked in muck that they'd be sounding constantly as they'd sense the muck as an obstruction?

Must be a fault, not washed the 3.2 in about 6 months, sensors working fine

Worth checking the connections on the inside of the bumper, I reckon. But I've never had sensors so I don't know if my theory, or your sensors, hold water...
