just bought a wireless adapter for my missus computer to run from my router base and its saying poor signal !
yet i can take my laptop round to hers next door and have no problem, must have bought a crap adapter........ bugger............... :-/

Those USB ones get very poor signal, the circuit board AND ariel has to be inside that.

i may get a usb extension so i can run the adapter a little nearer?? may work to get a better than 50% signal which seems to be minimum.

just bought a 5m extension lead so hopefully can run the adapter around a couple of walls for a better signal, then she can get rid of her slow dial-up.
