Ignoring the movement of the England/Scotland North Sea 'border' as regards North Sea oil revenue and just as a piece of nonsensical nonsense, can someone say what percentage and how much revenue does scotch whisky add to the exchequer?

The ratio of Scotland/England would suffice?

Where is it manufactured again?

Hhhhhmmmm.....

£3.95bn P.A. according to the Scotch Whiskey Association. Or to put it another way A Nice Wee Drop in the ocean  ::)

£3.95bn is sales. Contribution to the exchequer is 76% of that. Certainly enough to keep wee Nicola in designer clothes and hairstyles, and maybe enough to keep Salmond in deep fried Mars bars.  :D
Joking aside, its a pretty insignificant sum in the overall picture.

Is this more or less than the revenue from the 'Scottish man-skirt'? :)
