Possible OOF Assistance Request
« on: 23 March 2016, 22:39:51 »

Basically, mother has got a Pug 206 1.4 and may have an alternator fault... I'm diagnosing by phone at the moment. Her mechanic has broken his arm so is out of action.

Before I do the 450 mile round trip next week to sort it, is there anyone near Richmond, North Yorkshire, who might be able to help?

TIA :y

If you can't find anyone on OOF then I know a few people up that way who might know another decent mechanic.

Cheers. With some telephone diagnosis it seems likely to just be a battery... Alternator sat at 14V after starting.

New battery first, which she can get done ok, and then test again :y
