Working the motorway last night and a call came over the air 'HT18 I can see you're not far away from Knutsford, any chance you can help out the ARV and do a drugs swab test for them???'  'OK' I reply, 'tell em I'm about 10 mins away'.

I arrive at the scene expecting to see an X5 and someone sat in the rear of it, but no, complete carnage  4 cars absolutely smashed up beyond recognition    I think to myself 'this is gonna be more than just a drug swipe.'  Nice to be prewarned 

It turns out that some snotty little brat of a kid (20yrs old) driving a brand new BMW was attempting a double overtake  in a 30mph zone, over a pelican crossing  got it completely wrong  (wet road & rear wheel drive) and careered into a parked Volvo pushing it into an MG then into the owners drive through a brick wall. MG then pushed down the road into another parked car, which sends that hurling down the road and neatly parks it in a cul-de-sac.

How a) driver of Beemer got out with no injuries. b) no other road users got caught up in it. c)no pedestrians were injured. is a complete miracle 

To say we had words was an understatement    He was also sober & drug free too!
