deisel preheat light
« on: 09 June 2016, 21:28:49 »

over the last couple of days the diesel pre-heat light has not been going on at all, even when the engine is cold. Is that because of the outside temperature being warm. also looking at fuses the only one mentioned regards diesel heating is No 10 fuse "Heated diesel fuel filter " a 30A fuse. I thought the glow plugs would have a fuse.  :-\

Does the light come on at all, even just a flash when you first turn the ignition on? If not, would suggest bulb blown... :-\

The ECU probably takes readings from coolant temp and air temp... whilst 24-6° is hardly hot, it is most certainly not a cold start ;)
