I have a micro sd card that i put into my samsung tab3. It asked me to formatt it so i did i then hit the mount key and it comes back with sd card is blank or unsupported file.

what now   is the card no good or do i need to do something else.

Was it an inter web cheapo? If so, it's likely knackered before you start

As an aside, I bought 3 car chargers (USB type) from eBay (should have known better ) that claimed to be 3.1 Amp... I've not bothered measuring but I have had a full refund as they couldn't even charge my phone without the nav running on it, never mind with! Currently using a 1 amp charger and that works just fine, albeit it struggles a little if on a call for a long time too.

As has been said numerous times... eBay is full of cheap, fake tat

Whats the cards Memory?, if its more than 32Gb may be the phone doesn't support it, or if it does the phone may be looking for a different Format.

Try formatting as Fat32, most phones will accept that, if doing on a PC and its 64GB or above it will probably only format as eFat or NTFS, so download a Fat32 Formater.
