My key ofb isn't wirking, i have changed the battery, i have attempted to reset it but turning my key to 2 in the ignition and pressing the button once. When did this the car doors locked and then unlocked idicating that the key ofb was resynced but it is still now opening the car. Please help.

They can 'de-sync' themselves. If they are pressed more than a few times out of range from the car they need re-syncing again. It happened several times in one week on me, and not since. Just one of them things.

If you're had your fob apart it could be that the buttons aren't working as they should. Check the LED blinks when you press the button. Sometimes a little piece of card/plastic on top of the buttons inside the fob can bodge-cure dickey buttons for a while.   :)

Check the battery holder hasn't come adrift. I suspect it has.

Thanks everyone. I read through some of the forum and found my answer. To resync your key you have: :D
Ignition off with the key in the ignition slot.
Press the key in (you will feel the ignition give slightly).
While holding the key in press the lock button 1x.
Still keeping the key in press the unlock button 1x.
Keep the key depressed for a count of 10 seconds.

Your fob is now resyncef.

If it gives you more grief, I occasionally get to Bletchley, if it needs resoldering.
