One for the Carlton / Senny owners among us?
« on: 13 May 2016, 14:28:55 »

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAUXHALL-OPEL-15-ALLOY-WHEELS-x-5-USED-CARLTON-SENATOR-OMEGA-CLEARANCE-STOCK-/182128647631?hash=item2a67b69dcf:g:J6YAAOSwt7pXNH6j

seem nice enough, and at 99p with no bids, not the most expensive alloys in the world.

no connection with these, of course, just thought I'd pass it on.  :)

15 inch wheels sound small by the standards of today.

As a boy  I seem to recall that the majority cars were fitted with 13 inch wheels.

£2.04 plus 45 sov's delivery

I remember a lot of cars with 13'' wheels and low profile tyres too.  Well 175/70/13 :)

This was on 6x13" alloy wheels(late 4 spokes) with 185/70 tyres. Stock Capri.

The wheels you can see are steel 6.5x16" with 205/50 tyres and Capri LS centre caps. We were aiming for subtle, and these Citroen Picasso wheels(£100 for 4 new ones) have certainly acheived it. There is room for an inch spacer on the back, which would pull them out enough to help the stance
