help switch on passenger wishbone mv6?
« on: 18 May 2016, 10:37:04 »

Hi please help! what is the switch on the passenger bottom arm/wishbone for? The car is a 2003 omega mg6 estate.it looks like a level sensor but the car hasn't got ride level adjustment as far as I am aware. Rear shocks look standard and don't think there is a pump. Were late cars "loomed for ride height" even though wasn't fitted or was the car originally automatic ride level and has the pump etc been replaced with standard at some point? I have had lots of omega's and never come across this switch/sensor before, please help!

Also another question recently when I accellerate hard the abs  and traction control lights come on, they reset after the ignition has been turned off and are fine unless I accelerate hard again, the car has been fine and tc working fine up until recently?

Thanks for that, still need advice on the abs/tc lights, I think it may not be accelleration but ovr a certain speed ie 60+, I am guessing one of the wheel sensors is reading a different revolution speed to the others, guessing the abs sensors link to the traction control which also illuminates tc light at the same time
