Because there are 45 million people registered to vote in the UK?

Luckily a vast majority see Labour for the un-electable bunch of idiots they really are, with that pathetic Corbyn at the helm it's only going to continue to get worse for Labour.

I do wonder if he is a secret tory plant, he has done more damage to Labour than any other.

Anyone catch May's first PM questions on Wednesday? She destroyed that idiot  :D

I think it was an attempt to stop the recent influx of nouveau Labour folks who violently support Corbyn from being able to vote him in.. I don't think it's worked as everyone I know who is that way inclined (including a lot of 19-21 year olds who are vehemently pro-union) has paid the £25 anyway.. he's pretty much guaranteed to be selected back in.

I'm not quite sure why the unions are so hated in this country.

They are certainly far from perfect, but without the historical help of the unions the average working man would still be working a 15 hour day  for a loaf of stale bread.

I think it's all a scam to raise funds for the Labour Party.  They've made a quick £4.5 million! Kerrrching!  :y

I wonder how many are Conservative voters who will back Corbyn just to enjoy the implosion of the Labour Party when it has an elected leader that the PLP can't trust but is forced on them .. how many will do the honourable thing and resign, forcing by-elections .... very few I doubt as they like their snouts in the trough too much .. :(

If and when he is elected back in I think it likely that Labour will split again, with many of its MP,s forming a new party with the Libdems, just like the SDP did in the 80,s.
The Tories should be safe to win the next two elections, at least.
UKIP may well pick up several seats from labour in the North next time round.
We are living in strange / interesting times. People all over the world have lost faith in the political class and are rebelling against them in various ways.
Young impressionable, middle class people in this country think they are doing that by supporting Corbyn, but due to their abysmal education, they don't realise that they are supporting the remnants of the old established far left from the 70,s.
Corbyn and most of his supporters wouldn't know a genuine working class person if they tripped over one in the street.

This!!! 👍

I can't stand that commy moron Corbyn. If he stays leader at least it will guarantee they won't get in for a long while imo.

May totally destroyed him.

Though even though it was amusing I won't be satisfied with her til she gets us out of the EU. She has promised. But I hope she isn't going to play the "times a great memory wiper" game. Hopefully she keeps her word.

Told hold your breath, Mr Bear. Mountains will crumble before it finally happens. :)

In the meantime it looks as though the NHS will be short of £350 million each week. ;)

Ah,but the poison dwarf from North of the border has claimed that she has a veto which could stop us leaving the EU or at the very least delay the exit.Whether or not she can I don't know.

I saw a hint of Thatcher in her first PM Q's - Her response to jobs and him being a "boss" exploiting rules, very Thatcher like.

Feels like she has been at dispatch box for years  :)
