Joie Every-Stage child seat

Has anyone got any experience of using this seat in an Omega saloon? (Tunnie perhaps?)

No sorry. We tend to use Maxi Cosi, as they have lasted well for MrsT's sister kids. I've just bought another Maxi Cosi for the VW, a ISO Fix Family Fix base and Pearl seat.

We did look at other types, like this every stage type. Does one you are looking at have huge brace thing that goes across the front? That's then fixed in place with seat belt? With seat itself ISO fix?

Just googled it, see its standard harness type. Looks good!

Only thing is, even when a baby they need strapping in each time. In the Omega we had Maxi Cosi EasyBase2 (seatbelt) which allowed Pebble seat to bolt and "dock" in. We had adaptors in our iCandy pram, that allows same car seat to dock in there too. Very useful when she was younger, as when asleep she could be transferred from pram to car or visa versa without waking her by strapping her in.

Miss this now she is older, hence going for newer base allowing young baby seats to dock in, or older types.

It is more expensive, but it's so much more convenient!

This is the seat http://www.joiebaby.com/product/every-stage/

We currently have a Maxi Cosi Pearl and a Maxi Cosi Pebble 2, both on isofix bases. The Pearl can be used without the isofix base using a seatbelt - we used to use this in the Omega when little monster 1 was small. The pebble 2 is isofix only though so I cannot fit it in my car.

Little monster 1 is quite skinny and can easily wriggle her arms out of the shoulder straps in the pebble 2 while little monster 2 is growing very quickly and will soon be too big for the Pearl so we are looking at alternatives.....

Edit - must type faster.......
